I took it back.I think it is a fabulous flat iron IF and only IF your hair is NOT fine.Medium density and thickier/curlier would be who I would recommend it for.It is too hot for fine hair.I found myself not using it as much as I thought I would so I took it back.

Be honest about your hair...if you have split ends or extremely dry hair, don't use this.It won't repair your hair...the only thing that will is a good cut.But to prevent damaged hair, I think this is great.You will have to refill the reservoir every time, it says you only need to every 2-3 times, but it's every time.

The store said it was their second return on this iron.I think that says something if a hairdresser brings it back.

Joico is a great company.Their KPak reconstructive conditioner is fantastic.As is this iron, but only for the right kind of hair.

As a hairstylist with 20+ years experience and more flat irons than I care to know about wrapped up and shoved far away in the depths of my salon (and home), THIS ONE is the best!!! IF you have fine/fragile hair like I do (I live with 'challenged' hair daily), you owe it to yourself to try this iron.

Even at it's lowest heat setting, it's hotter than most, but with the ReconstrRX Vapor that penetrates your hair you find one swipe through is all you need. And your hair feels like HAIR!Not stiff from thermal products or fried because you didn't use a protector but it feels and looks like beautiful, healthy hair and it has shine and body!

It did scare me a bit at first as I saw the vapor and it reminded me of a curling iron I loved in high school that had a steam button on it.That old orange and white iron gave me the most perfect feathered hair that lasted all day but what I remember the most was the shine it gave me.This did the same.

One note...the dvd shows you how to create simple smooth and curly hair styles with the educator doing the model's hair and she, too, does her own hair.As a professional watching this, I felt it was done well and I feel my clients could create the same styles on their own.He has some good tips to share.
